Vegetarian Rice Mix


INGREDIENTS:

-Robbie Shelton 1 ts Onion Salt
2 tb Parsley Flakes 1 tb Celery Salt
1 tb Oregano 1 tb Ginger
1 tb Marjaram 1 ts Pepper
1 tb Thyme 1 ts Sage
2 ts Rosemary 1 tb Paprika
1 ts Arlic Salt
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until evenly distributed. Spoon mixture into a small airtight container. Label. Store in a cool, dry place. Use within 6 months. Makes about 1/2 cup of CHICKEN COATING MIX.

OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN

1 1/2 Tsp. CHICKEN COATING MIX 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1/4 Cup Instant Nonfat Dry Milk 2 Tsp. Sugar 1 Tsp. Baking Powder 1/2 Tsp. Salt 2/3 Cup Hot Water 2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) Fryer Chicken, Cut Up. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl. Blend well. Dip chicken pieces in batter and place on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown and tender. Or if desired, dip chicken pieces in batter then fry in hot oil.
