Rice Pudding 5
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c Rice 1/2 c Sugar
1 qt Milk 1 t Vanilla
1/3 c Butter 1/4 t Salt
3 ea Eggs, beaten 1 x Cinnamon
1/2 c Rice 1/2 c Sugar
1 qt Milk 1 t Vanilla
1/3 c Butter 1/4 t Salt
3 ea Eggs, beaten 1 x Cinnamon
Mix rice with 2 cups of the milk in top of a double boiler. Cook over hot water until tender. Add butter. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and remaining milk. Stir into hot rice mixture. Pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Set in pan and fill half full of warm water. Bake in a moderately low oven 325 for 25 minutes or until set.
