Mock Hollandaise Sauce (Low Cholesterol)
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 c No-fat/lowfat sour cream
1/4 c No fat/low fat mayonnaisse
1 ts Spicey mustard
1 tb Lemon juice
1 pn Red pepper flakes.
1/4 c No-fat/lowfat sour cream
1/4 c No fat/low fat mayonnaisse
1 ts Spicey mustard
1 tb Lemon juice
1 pn Red pepper flakes.
Mix the above ingredients in the top of a double boiler (adding lemon juice last and slowly). Heat thoroughly about 15 minutes or until completely mixed. You can control the taste by experimenting with different types of mustard. More pepper flakes will give the dish a rewardingly healthful twang.
