Italian Sausage Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 lb Italian sausage links; cut
-into 1-inch pieces
14 1/2 oz Beef broth
2 oz Pimiento; drained, diced
1 c Uncooked rice
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/8 ts Pepper
9 oz Frozen cut broccoli; thawed
2 tb Parmesan cheese; grated
3/4 lb Italian sausage links; cut
-into 1-inch pieces
14 1/2 oz Beef broth
2 oz Pimiento; drained, diced
1 c Uncooked rice
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/8 ts Pepper
9 oz Frozen cut broccoli; thawed
2 tb Parmesan cheese; grated
Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until well browned, stirring occasionally; drain. Add beef broth, pimiento, rice, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli; cover. Simmer an additional 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and broccoli is tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 4 (1-1/4 cup) servings.
