Green Beans With Provolone Cheese
INGREDIENTS:
3 tb Butter 1/2 c Chicken stock or
1 tb Olive oil -- reduced-sodium broth
1/4 c Onion; chopped 3 tb Cream
1/4 c Prosciutto or ham, chopped 1/2 ts Salt
1 pk (10 oz) peas, frozen 1/4 ts Pepper

1. In a medium frying pan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and prosciutto or ham and cook 2 to 3 mins, or until onion is softened. Add peas and stock, increase heat to medium-high, and cook uncovered 3 mins.
2. Add cream and cook 3 to 5 mins, until liquid is reduced and peas begin to collapse and turn brown. Season with salt and pepper.
