Funnel Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1 c Plus
2 tb Flour
3/4 c Milk
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Almond extract
1/8 ts Salt
1 lg Egg
2 tb Powdered sugar
1 c Plus

Pre-heat oil in a 12 inch skillet @ 325 degrees F. or over medium-high heat. Approximately 3/4" of oil in the pan. In a bowl mix all of the ingredients with a fork. Using a narrow spouted funnel (1/2" spout); close spout with finger -
pour batter in funnel. Over hot oil, remove finger to let batter run out in a stream, while making a 6" diameter spiral. Fry 3-5 minutes until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towel. Keep warm. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar, or top with fresh fruit and whip cream.
Nutritional Information: EACH CAKE 150 calories 6 grams of fat 34 mg. cholesterol 100 mg. sodium.
