Fried Green Tomatoes and Pasta
INGREDIENTS:
2 lg Green tomatoes; sliced 1/2 "

1 lg Yellow cucumber; peeled
Evaporated milk as needed
Quick cooking rolled oats
Oil as needed

Evaporated milk as needed

Oil as needed
Slice the green tomatoes about 1/2" thick. Peel 1 large yellow cucumber, slice and remove seeds. Season. Dip slices in evaporated milk, then in the oats. (Rub oats between your hands to make them fine.) Fry slowly in hot oil until brown and tender.
