Egg Rolls
INGREDIENTS:
2 Eggs; well beaten
1 sm Cup of milk
1 tb Melted lard or butter
2 ts Baking powder
Flour
2 tb White sugar; (optional)

These breads should not be confused with Chinese egg rolls. These are essentially Jewish challah leavened with baking powder instead of yeast.
Combine the ingredients, using enough flour to make a stiff biscuit. Roll out the dough and cut it into the desired size. Bake in a hot oven. This makes a nice biscuit for tea. If a sweeter biscuit is desired, add the sugar.
