Easy Crescent Danish Rolls (1975)

1 pk Pillsbury Plus Devil's Food -filling
-cake mix 1 t Almond extract
21 oz Can cherry fruit pie 2 Eggs, beaten

1 c Sugar 6 oz Pkg semi-sweet chocolate 1/3 c Milk -chips 5 T Butter
1974 Pillsbury Bake Off Winner Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan or 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine all bar ingredients; stir until well blended. Spread in greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. For 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan, bake 20 to 30 minutes; for 13 x 9 inch pan, bake 25 to 30 minutes. In small saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour and spread over warm bars.
