Dolly's Red Velvet Bouffant Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1 Pie crust; for deep dish pie
4 c Peach, fresh; sliced
1 c Sugar
3 ts Flour
Butter
1/2 c ;Water, boiling
1 Pie crust; for deep dish pie
4 c Peach, fresh; sliced
1 c Sugar
3 ts Flour
Butter
1/2 c ;Water, boiling
Mix all ingredients except boiling water. Turn mixture into the pie crust and level, adding strips of left-over pie dough to make an informal lattice work on top. Place 'pats' of butter over top of crust. Pour boiling water over the top of all. Bake at 350 F. for about 50 minutes.
