Diabetic Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 c Cocoa
1/4 c Butter or shortening
1/4 c Applesauce
2 tb Sweet*10 liquid
2 tb Vanilla (this doesn't seem
-right; at most, 2 tsp, and
-I think 1 would be enough)
2 Eggs, beaten, or substitute
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 c Nuts, chopped
1/4 c Cocoa
1/4 c Butter or shortening
1/4 c Applesauce

1/4 c Nuts, chopped
Sift cocoa, flour, salt and baking soda. Combine vanilla, sweetener, eggs, applesauce, shortening. Stir until well-blended. Add the dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Stirr in chopped nuts. Pour into a greased 8" square pan. Leveel batter smoothly. Bake at 325 F for 20 minutes. Cut into 16 squares.
