Crunchy Granlola


INGREDIENTS:

5 tb Olive oil
2 c Shelled green garden peas
3 Green onions with stems;
-chopped
Salt and freshly ground
-black pepper
3 ts Finely chopped fresh basil
3 tb Grated imported Parmesan
-cheese
Hot pepper
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the peas and green onions and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the optional basil, cheese and/or hot pepper flakes to taste. Cover the pan for 1 minute for young peas, longer for older ones. Serve hot. Yield: 4 servings
