Corn And Sausage Chowder
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Mild bulk pork sausage 2 c Boiling water
1 ts Ground cumin 1 To 2 jalapeno peppers,
1/2 ts Garlic powder -seeded and finely minced
2 md Onions, chopped 1 pk (6-1/4 ounces) long grain
2 md Green peppers, chopped -and wild rice
2 Beef bouillon cubes
1 lb Mild bulk pork sausage 2 c Boiling water
1 ts Ground cumin 1 To 2 jalapeno peppers,
1/2 ts Garlic powder -seeded and finely minced
2 md Onions, chopped 1 pk (6-1/4 ounces) long grain
2 md Green peppers, chopped -and wild rice
2 Beef bouillon cubes
In a large skillet, cook sausage, cumin and garlic powder, stirring often. Drain. Add onions and green peppers; saut until crisp-tender. Dissolve bouillon in water; add to skillet. Stir in jalapenos, rice and rice seasoning packet; bring to a boil. Reduce Yield: 4-6 servings.
