Broccoli Corn Bread
INGREDIENTS:
1 pk (10 oz) frozen chopped
-broccoli, thawed
1 pk (8 1/2 oz) corn bread mix
3 Eggs; beaten
1 md Onion; chopped
1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c Melted butter or margarine
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Garlic powder (up to 1/2)
1/4 ts Ground red pepper

Press broccoli between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Combine corn bread mix, eggs, onion, cheese, butter and seasonings; mix well. Stir in broccoli; batter will be thick. Spoon mixture into greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool slightly. Cut into squares.
