Breakfast Cake
INGREDIENTS:
--ALMOND PEACH BUTTER--
1/2 c Butter; softened
1/3 c Peach preserves
1/2 ts Almond extract
1/2 ts Powdered sugar

--HONEY ORANGE BUTTER--
1/2 c Butter; softened 1/4 c Honey 2 tb Orange marmalade
-APPLE CINNAMON BUTTER-
1/2 c Butter; softened 2 tb Maple syrup 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
----STAWBERRY BUTTER----
1/2 c Butter; softened 1/3 c Strawberry preserves 1/2 ts Lemon juice 1/2 ts Powdered sugar
1. For each flavor of butter, whip butter with electric mixer in a small bowl until smooth and fluffy; gradually add remaining ingredients.
2. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Notes: These are especially great for those who like to keep refined sugar to a minimum. Just use naturally sweetened, no sugar added preserves, omit the sugar and use honey and then use them on French Toast or Pancakes, waffles, of even toast ! Very good.
