Blonde Brownies (Blondies)


INGREDIENTS:

1 Stick butter or margarine
1 c Brown sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
2 tb Milk
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/8 ts Baking soda
1 pn Salt
1 c Chocolate chips (6 - 8 oz)
1/2 c Chopped walnuts

(This is from memory). Cream the sugar and butter, beat the egg, vanilla and milk in. Stir in the dry ingredients, then add the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in a "brownie-size" pan (greased and floured) and bake 20 -
25 minutes at 350 degrees. (Careful not to overbake!)
