Baked Apple with Maple Yogurt Sauce


INGREDIENTS:

3 lg Baking apples; peeled,
-sliced
3/4 c Sugar
1 tb Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Ginger
1/4 c Apple cider
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1/2 c Walnuts; -or-
Raisins
Vanilla ice cream
Place apples in a greased 1 quart baking dish. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and apple cider; pour over apples. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with nuts or raisins. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 45 -
60 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm over ice cream.
