627768 Chicken Cacciatore
INGREDIENTS:
2/3 c Butter 1/4 t Salt
1/2 c Dry bread crumbs 2 Chicken breasts, split
2 T Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 c Dry white wine
1 t Basil 1/4 c Chopped onion
1 t Oregano leaves 1/4 t Chopped parsley
1/2 t Garlic salt
2/3 c Butter 1/4 t Salt
1/2 c Dry bread crumbs 2 Chicken breasts, split
2 T Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 c Dry white wine
1 t Basil 1/4 c Chopped onion
1 t Oregano leaves 1/4 t Chopped parsley
1/2 t Garlic salt
In heavy 2 quart saucepan, melt butter. Meanwhile, on piece of wax paper, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt, and salt. Dip chicken breasts in melted butter then roll in crumbs to coat. Place in ungreased baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown. Pour wine into remainder of melted butter, add onion and parsley. When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce mixture over chicken. Return to oven for 5-10 minutes more or until sauce is hot.
